Lugol’s Iodine, also known as aqueous iodine and strong iodine solution, is a solution of potassium iodide with iodine in water. It is used for a number of purposes. Made up of two parts potassium iodide for everyone part elemental iodine in water, to a strength of 5%, it is a powerful disinfectant, natural antibiotic, and a potent heavy metal detox tool.
